This project was established in the summer of 2001 and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, now known as The Big Lottery Fund. The dedicated team aims to provide practical services to the visually impaired people of Tameside as well as information for carers, professionals and organisations.
You do not need to be registered blind or partially sighted to receive help. There is an open referral system and the team can offer home visits to discuss how the Association can best help someone.
